How African Millenials and Gen Zs Are Meeting Their Emotional Needs in Post-Modern Society

For our new issue of Modaculture Digital, we’re exploring modern love and how young people connect, thrive, and meet their emotional needs in today’s society.

We invite writers, illustrators, and creatives to submit work (paid) that delves into the multifaceted aspects of modern love and emotional well-being in the lives of young people. Whether through personal essays, fictional narratives, or visual art, we want to showcase diverse and inclusive perspectives and stories.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Theme: On Modern Love
  • Types of Submissions: Personal essays, short stories, features, and visual art
  • Length: Up to 1,500 words for prose, or up to 2 pieces of visual art
  • Format: Typed, double-spaced MS Word or Google Docs file for prose; .jpg or .png files for visual art
  • Deadline: September 2.
