It's Official! GWR Confirms Chef Hilda's Largest Serving of Nigerian Style Jollof Rice

Today, September 15, Guinness World Records (GWR) officially recognised Gino and Chef Hilda Baci‘s landmark feat—a new world record for the Largest Serving of Nigerian Style Jollof Rice set earlier on Friday, September 12.

GWR confirmed this in a post on its Instagram page this evening.

At the remarkable event which took place at the parking lot of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, in honour of the Gino World Jollof Festival, 200 bags of rice and carefully measured ingredients came together to create a pot that weighed over 10,000 kilograms after cooking.

The feat—the World Record for the Largest Serving of Nigerian Style Jollof Rice—which lasted nine hours, was a display of precision, scale, and culinary excellence.
