Ejiro Amos Tafiri, a Pan-African luxury fashion house, has officially announced the third edition of its highly influential intellectual and developmental platform: “Fashioning a Legacy: Leaving a Mark in Time.” Hosted in strategic partnership with the British Council Nigeria, this landmark creative industry convergence, Conference 3.0, is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at the British Council infrastructure in Ikoyi, Lagos.

As the African fashion ecosystem faces a critical intersection of macroeconomic pressures and rapid global digitisation, Conference 3.0 emerges as a vital intervention. The initiative is designed to move beyond traditional runway aesthetics, gathering designers, creative entrepreneurs, academic educators, policymakers, financial investors, and institutional leaders to address the structural realities of building sustainable, globally competitive luxury brands from the continent.

Built explicitly upon the tri-anchor framework of Creativity, Education, and Innovation, Conference 3.0 will deliver an intensive, high-impact schedule from 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM. The platform will steer actionable dialogues around workforce development, sustainable textile preservation, infrastructure scaling, and the commercialisation of African heritage on the global stage.

The conference directly mirrors the lifelong mission of its convener, Ms. Ejiro Amos Tafiri, who was voted among Africa’s 100 Most Impactful People in Fashion. Fresh off headlining international runways from Paris Fashion Week to Shanghai Fashion Week under the Africa Reimagined platform, Tafiri aims to channel global structural insights directly back into the local ecosystem through this open-access symposium.

“True sustainable growth in African fashion requires more than raw creative talent; it demands robust business infrastructure, deliberate mentorship pipelines, and strategic policy frameworks,” states Ms. Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Founder and Creative Director. “Through Conference 3.0 and our invaluable partnership with the British Council, we are creating an intentional, democratic space where established industry custodians and emerging pioneers can collaborate to build a permanent, self-sustaining economic legacy.”

In alignment with the Ejiro Amos Tafiri Foundation’s commitment to reducing industry inequality and democratising professional knowledge, attendance at the conference is completely free. However, to manage institutional capacity and streamline post-event resource distribution, strict digital pre-registration is mandatory.
