Nigerian sensational singer-songwriter, Chiké-Ezekpeazu Osebuka has released impressive new images for the second edition of his #ChikeLive series. German start-up Sono Motors recently at CES 2021 expo, showcased its solar powered electric car, the Sion solar. The Sion solar is a spacious electric car with a range of up to 255 kilometers that charges itself through the power of the sun. The second-gen Sion features 248 photovoltaic panels integrated into the vehicle’s body that will top up its battery pack during daylight hours, for up to 20 miles of extra range per day. The idea is that the vehicle’s battery can get a bit of a top up from solar energy while it’s sitting in the parking lot or even stuck in traffic. Wristwatch maker, Casio has announced its first Wear OS smartwatch in its long-running G-Shock lineup, the GSW-H1000. The watchmaker has been releasing devices using Google’s smartwatch OS since 2016, when it released the Android Wear-powered Casio Smart Outdoor Watch. But this is the first time Google’s software has appeared on a G-Shock watch. The G-Shock lineup dates back to the 1980s, and the watches have a reputation for being one of the most rugged Wristwatches around. There’s an optical heart rate sensor, and Casio’s built-in software supports 15 activities and 24 indoor workout options. The MBUX Hyperscreen is a 55.5-inch-wide display that spans the entire dashboard, debuting on the Mercedes-Benz EQS electric luxury sedan this year. The Hyperscreen is a thing of beauty. On the surface, it’s an expanse of curved glass, but it’s more elegant than any curved computer monitor. The glass is heated to 650 degrees Celsius during the molding process, says Mercedes, and the curvature ensures distortion-free viewing from anywhere in the vehicle. Apple has launched a new service that lets users transfer the photos and videos in iCloud Photos to Google Photos with ease. This is great news for iPhone users who wish to switch to android, or iCloud users wishing to transfer/back up their photos or videos. The requirements list on the Apple support page notes that in addition to using iCloud Photos to store your pictures and videos, your Apple ID will need to have two-factor authentication turned on. Additionally, you’ll want to make sure your Google account has enough storage to handle the transfer.
