This season, Lagos Fashion Week has partnered with renowned fashion platform Le New Black to facilitate a unique wholesale order experience for selected brands for the next one year.
Since the 24th of November, a selection of African designers have onboarded their collections, as part of Lagos Fashion Week’s ongoing strategy to expand access to market opportunities for this season’s participating designers. IAMISIGO, Lisa Folawiyo and Emmy Kasbit are currently plugged into the digital showroom for the next one year to tap into opportunities to facilitate wholesale orders from buyers globally.
All 3 brands represent the best of African creativity in their own unique ways and are showcasing their new collections for wholesale purchase. Contemporary wearable art brand IAMISIGO remains dedicated to preserving the ancestral textiles of her Nigerian heritage and her available collection showcases. The Lisa Folawiyo brand has become synonymous with the intricate embellishment of traditional fabrics on modern silhouettes. Emmy Kasbit has found his niche in creating unconventional yet timeless pieces whilst also employing indigenous craftsmanship.
Le New Black has long been considered the digital hub dedicated to bringing designers and retailers together. This partnership with Lagos Fashion Week represents the innovative approach that’s been implemented to counter the difficulties caused by global travel restrictions. Lagos Fashion Week Presents helps to establish connections between retail opportunities and innovative designers. They give buyers, influencers, engaged global audience as well as key opinion leaders the opportunity to shop African designer collections.
