FashionBar, LLC proudly presents The Trans Media Fashion Show as
part of FashionBar The Shows this April 2025 at Water Tower Place on Chicago’s
Magnificent Mile. This special runway event will take place on Thursday, April 24,
2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and will celebrate trans visibility, inclusion, and
community through the power of fashion.
This year’s Trans Media Fashion Show is held in partnership with a coalition of
remarkable organisations—Howard Brown Health’s 50th anniversary and
Broadway Youth Center’s 20th anniversary, benefiting Life Is Work, Vernita Gray
Council, Impulse Chicago, Brown Elephant, and FashionBar Chicago—who have
come together to present an impactful night of fashion and philanthropy.
All ticket sales purchased through Howard Brown’s website will directly benefit the Broadway Youth Center, supporting LGBTQ+ youth programs and services. Attendees will experience a vibrant and inclusive runway showcasing the latest collections from:

- Brown Elephant
- Life Is Work
In addition to the show, a VIP Cocktail Reception will precede the event, offering an exclusive opportunity to network, connect, and celebrate the organisations and individuals driving positive change in Chicago’s LGBTQ+ and fashion communities. The Trans Media Fashion Show continues FashionBar’s commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and representation within the fashion industry while uplifting the communities that inspire us. Music will be provided by Ariana DJ, elevating the event’s ambiance.
