Taste of Africa: 3 African Restaurants You Should Totally Try Out

It has been a minute and I have had some time to discover quite a number of places that may arguably present you with the ultimate dining experience. We know as the saying goes in a number of African places, that the fastest way to a one’s heart is through the stomach.

Well, for us at Moda Culture, it goes beyond eating food to satisfy one’s belly. It extends to the memories to be made and the feeling of being pampered. And of course, the joy of savouring the cuisines of different parts of the world creates a level of acceptance that truly bonds us as real people of one humanity.

Here are some African restaurants you should totally explore:

  • Level Four Restaurant and Champagne Bar:

Located in the serene and picturesque area of Rosebank, Johannesburg, it is a well-loved place by people in the Joburg area and foreigners alike. We could not get enough of the aesthetics put together for the decor both indoor and outdoor. The service was exceptional with high-grade meals – the pap and sauce were simply divine, and the braai was so tender!

A cool glass of mojito from Level Four was the best thing we have ever had. Enough said, why don’t you take a trip to Level Four for a well deserved season’s treat.

Level Four is at 54 on Bath Hotel, 54 Bath Avenue, Joburg, Republic Of South Africa. Yes, the ratings are a complete 5 stars from us!

  • Nkoyo:

Finding this restaurant was pretty easy but what blew us away is the fact that practically every meal ordered comes freshly made. Abuja is one grand place and for a place like Nkoyo to be given so much hype,  you should go ahead and visit. The address is Ceddi Plaza,  Tafawa Balewa Road, Central Area, Abuja.

This African and continental catering restaurant is one of the best places to relax and enhance your connoisseur taste buds.

  • Santoku:

Right in the heart of Accra, Ghana is the pristine Santoku restaurant. Our pick is yes because here, it’s a full spread that caters to a wide variety of customers’ food preferences.

There is a full menu available to Vegetarians, Vegans, Gluten-free foods, regular eaters and the sushi surprise. We would recommend sushi. It is so beautiful to look at. A delicate art form that you’d gush over rather before you’d proceed to eat. Great outdoor sitting for us and we think it works perfectly.

Santoku is at North Airport Road Azure, Villagio Visya, Fast Dzorwulu Accra, Ghana.
