Meet the Big Brother Naija 2022 Housemates.
Africa’s most-watched show, Big Brother Naija, returned for its seventh season on the weekends of the 23rd and 24th of July, and it needs no introduction. Its viewership has been compared to that of the American Superbowl; the dramatic nature of the show has been proven time and again to keep people riveted to their couch as the show progresses each week, lasting for three months.
This new season, just like the ones before it, has a unique theme and its twist and turn. When Ebuka, the host, introduced the first batch of 12 housemates on the first day of the launch weekend, people had no idea what Big Brother had rolled up his sleeves. When the second batch of 12 housemates was introduced the following day, they were led into a different house.
Although Big Brother chooses to call the houses “level one” and “level two”—making sense of this season’s theme: Level Up—fans of the show have quickly labelled them “Mainland” and “Island” to segregate the houses according to class. Still, nobody knows what might happen next. But now, we know who the housemates we are working with this season are.
