However, it is important to note that fashion is not the only aspect of African culture, and African movies should not be reduced solely to a means of shaping fashion trends. African movies offer a wealth of cultural, social, and political commentary that is just as important to appreciate and learn from. Ultimately, African movies can serve as a platform to celebrate and share the richness and diversity of African culture, including its fashion and style.

There have been several African films that have incorporated elements of luxury, minimalism, androgynous fashion, and subtle tones in their costume design and cinematography. However, the prevalence of these aesthetics varies depending on the individual film and its artistic vision.
