Meet The LagosFW x Moda Operandi Trunk Show Designers

Lagos Fashion Week has announced the fifth instalment of its ongoing partnership with the renowned luxury fashion platform, Moda Operandi. This milestone reflects a shared commitment to showcasing the rich creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation of African fashion on the global stage.

Since the inception of this partnership, Lagos Fashion Week has leveraged its position as a champion of African design to spotlight some of the continent’s most exceptional talents. Each trunk show serves as a curated journey, bringing together contemporary aesthetics with a deep reverence for cultural heritage.

“Collaborating with Moda Operandi for the fifth time is a testament to the global appeal of African fashion,” said Omoyemi Akerele, Founding Director of Style House Files and Lagos Fashion Week.

This partnership not only celebrates the artistry of our designers but also reinforces the narrative that African fashion is a key player in the luxury market.

Rizka Rivianti, Resort Wear, Denim & Ski Buyer at Moda Operandi, shared, “This season is particularly meaningful for Team Moda as we had the incredible opportunity to be in Lagos, exploring new brands and experiencing their collections firsthand. The remarkable creativity and commitment to craftsmanship showcased during Lagos Fashion Week truly inspired us. We can’t wait to share our latest designer discoveries and returning favourites with our customers.”

The trunk show features exclusive collections from a selection of African designers, offering Moda Operandi’s discerning clientele access to limited-edition pieces that seamlessly blend traditional techniques with modern silhouettes. These collections are a celebration of the ingenuity that has positioned African fashion as a cornerstone of the global industry.

In addition to the group trunk show, Kilentar, one of last year’s standout designers, will launch an exclusive collection on Moda Operandi, further expanding its global reach.

Moda Operandi, known for its dedication to supporting emerging designers and curating exceptional fashion experiences, continues to be a vital partner in Lagos Fashion Week’s mission to connect African designers with a worldwide audience. The fifth trunk show promises to deepen this collaboration, showcasing designs that reflect the diverse and dynamic stories of Africa while appealing to a global sensibility.
