Moda Culture Profiles Asisat Oshoala, Chef Hope Boya, Chigozie Obi, Anu Oyeleye for Women’s Month 2022

Women’s month ( IWD 2022) is here and looking celebratory for all women.

This March, we are honouring women across all sectors and at all levels through our stories, by highlighting them and their works.

CHIGOZIE OBI

Chigozie Obi is a multi-dimensional Artist from Lagos, Nigeria.

Her work explores experimentation with multiple materials to tell stories formed from personal/societal
experiences.

As an artist she works with multiple materials such as oil, acrylic, mixed media, printing, digital illustrations and more.

She is driven by the desire to create works that share knowledge and create conversations (focused mainly on women) as well as enjoying & exploring art for its sake.

CHEF HOPE BOYA

Chef Hope Boya is an accountant-turned-chef from Abuja, Nigeria.

She is the Head Chef of @Playzone Abuja.

Chef H, as she is fondly called, has mastered the skill of culinary craft. She is passionate about creating meals with distinct flavors while being health conscious, and adjusting recipes to suit customers’ preferences.

In her spare time, she enjoys singing and watching movies.

ASISAT OSHOALA

AsisatiLamina Oshoala MON is a Nigerian professional footballer who captains the Nigerian women’s national team and plays as a striker for FC Barcelona Femen in the Primera División.

In 2015, Asisat won the BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year award after an impressive debut season.

Asisat is known for her goal-scoring ability and off-the-ball movement; she is a good dribbler, and her height makes her a constant aerial threat.

She has a long list of accomplishments and numerous national and international awards to her credit. They include:

ANUOLUWAPO OYELEYE

Anuoluwapo Oyeleye is the Vice President and Product Manager of one of the leading fintech companies in Nigeria.

A graduate of Economics from The Redeemers University, her career began as a Credit Risk Analyst at Guaranty Trust Bank. She joined Access Bank after receiving her first Master’s degree in Economics from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, and worked as a Business Banking Analyst there until she decided to relocate to Germany to pursue her second Master’s degree in Strategic Business Management from the University of Law Business School in Germany.

In her one year of leadership, she has created, designed and managed finance products that are doing well. In her leisure time, Anu doubles as a culinary and product photographer @2908_photography
